So all of my excuses bring me to my point today, where does the time go? It really doesn't go "anywhere", it just continues, it passes, we look forward to it and watch as it passes us by. Today marks the day I left Los Angeles one year ago. I boarded a plane with two suitcases, said goodbye to my loved cat "Meowsa" and had no idea where my life was going from that point on. I had a burner phone and no more than a few hundred dollars in my account to get me by. Where was I going? Who was I and who would I become?
A year later I have the same questions and yet a security behind them. It's been a year... a whole year?!!! Where did that time go? I feel like I sneezed and life said Hello 2015! In a year's time, my friend's have expanded, I've been at my job for a year, I'm still living from suitcases and the world is still my oyster.
This week is the start of one of my favorite East Coast traditions, the Manheim Central Farm Show. An exhibition of livestock, wood work, art and local eateries. I used to enter the show as a hung pup with my show bunnies and artwork while my mother entered her flowers. It was a yearly tradition that set off my favorite season, Autumn. So today, my goal is to enjoy the farm show! I was considering entering some of my photography work (You can see some HERE), but with my time constraints, I decided that if I happen to be in the area in another year's time, hopefully I'll have some new work to submit.
Now as I enter into the holidays I am making a priority to set new goals, destinations and priorities. This time next year I hope to have some adventures under my belt and new stories to share.
Thanks for stopping by and may your day be blessed with good friends, family fun and a good Night's sleep to start your day tomorrow off well.
Cheers,
Blondesheep
