For those of you who know me personally, the beanie I am wearing in the picture to the right was a prized possession. I can't even remember where in the world I bought it, but it followed me everywhere. I'm not one for taking the time to style my hair and my beanie just fit me perfectly, including the strange canary color! During the 2015 Lancaster Roots and Blues festival, it was my staple. I'd be taking calls and putting out fires at Will Call by telling guests, just look for the lady in the canary red hat and wave so I can find you. And it worked. Funny enough there happened to be a Scrapbooking convention the same weekend of the festival and the ladies loved my hat. But this magic hat was an eye sore for many of my friends (Boooo!) and so during a move, my prized security blanket was lost. But with most things we find comfort in, there can also follow memories of the past when all you need is a boost to move in a different direction. Step out of the box and say World, here I am, what do you have in store for me today?
So after months of Amazon stalking, I found two new beanies and I have a feeling I may be extensively adding to my collection as the weather continues to cool. Different shapes, colors and styles. I have always loved hats, it's in my nature and DNA. My father actually wore a railroad conductor hat for as long as I could remember growing up. It was ridiculous and quite frankly embarrassing but it was him nonetheless.
Cheers and 100 days until Christmas,
Blondesheep
