Sitting, listening, observing
The crickets fill the moonlit night
And so I wait
Time passes slowly and anticipation builds
The moon she will fade and her counter, the sun will rise
It will be time to walk
To explore the city
To speak of life
To experience human interaction
To have conversation without technological interruption
We will be one with nature and occasional social interaction
A coffee shop here
A restaurant there
But in the end the mental ventilation will save not but myself, but you as well
I will feel the sun and all of her glory
Allow the wind to move the earth beneath my feet
Listen
Tell stories of the life lived
Learn
To walk and be within the world we allow to move so freely around us
Yes, I will sit here patiently for her fiery beauty to arise into her rightful place in the sky and we will walk
And for those few hours, a life of chaos will cease to exit
And all will be new
And all will be good.
